Approximately 250 of our Canadian oil & gas industry friends, both old and new, joined us Monday evening at the Calgary Petroleum Club for the official christening of TPH’s expansion into this important segment of the global energy landscape. The firm’s efforts, which began a few years ago, are led by Canadian energy finance veterans Hilary Foulkes (Chair), Derek Wheatley (MD, Co-Head) and Richard Matthews (MD, Co-Head). While all acknowledged the inherent challenges currently faced by the Canadian oil & gas industry, the enthusiasm for the opportunities presented by this vast and diverse energy market was abundantly evident in our conversations. TPH looks forward to being a partner in helping our Canadian clients, as well as those around the globe, realize those opportunities for decades to come.
