Richard Matthews serves as a Managing Director in the Investment Banking division, and Co-Head of TPH Canada. Previously, Matthews was a Managing Director and Head of A&D at FirstEnergy Capital Corp. in Calgary. Before that, Matthews gained diversified energy investment banking and E&P experience with Waterous & Co./Scotia Waterous in Calgary, Houston, London and Singapore and at Rider Resources and Crestar Energy in Calgary. He holds a BSc with Honors in Geological Sciences from the University of Manitoba and an MBA from the University of Calgary.
